Well, clearly my Darlings aren't quite ready for prime-time football yelling, i.e., it must scare them 'cause this is what was snapped as Aunt B's brother was cheering his team on:
This is not a happy fella . . . not happy at all!! Notice that Daddy is still into the game as though he's immune to the crying.
Check out the real tear rolling down her cheek!! If you look carefully you will see that as Mommie focuses on Avery, she has a smile on her face. Clearly Avery doesn't find any pleasure in crying though!
From Aunt B's explanation, the game was a very tight match. Maybe my Darlings are just sad that the Tigers were having to work so hard?? I don't think so!
Hopefully Riggs and Avery will develop / acquire / muster the strength to get through these Tiger football moments! I can only imagine the cacophony of sounds with adults hollering at the game, children knocking out cheers and my Darlings just trying to express displeasure with it all!!! This wouldn't happen if there were a small television with a DVD player providing their specific entertainment . . . Baby Einstein Baby Monet!! There's a clue for the next football viewing party!!
PS just so no one will imagine that my darlings were miserable the entire day, here are a couple of pre-game shots:
Riggs getting big huggin' from Aunt B!
Avery loving Mommie's help with the cheer!
Though here, Avery doesn't seem quite as excited as Joycelyn!!
I think they are secretly harboring their Daddy's Wildcat love.
ReplyDeleteBut don't you worry. Aunt B won't let that happen! They will one day love their Tigers just as much! ;-)
