Some people's children

My mother used to say that all the time but I'm thinking that it may actually apply to me!! The elements of the nursery for which I was responsible have now been completed. I was very happy on Sunday when that was done. However, last night, I rec'd this note from Anne:

I AM SO SENDING A VIDEO OF OUR NURSERY!!!!!

To say that I was a shocked would be an understatement! The nursery is a lovely and functional place to be but no where close to competition? So, here's the challenge . . . below are still images of the nursery. Look at them carefully and leave a comment here for whether we should OR should not enter it into the competition. OR, if you think there is something that is missing from the ensemble . . . let me know, okay??

For those of you who are unfamiliar with what the nursery looked like prior to the transformation, here is a pre-nursery digisnap.

Boppie covers for my Darlings

The boppie is a great invention! But, the covers are either a plush fabric (mostly polyester and HOT) or some sort of non-100% cotton something else. My darlings needed terry cloth boppie covers AND, their mother thought the covers should be in their respective colors: Hot pink for Avery and Orange for Riggs. Sooooooo, Dearie whipped out a pattern using a sheet of the New York Times (Daddy's favorite morning read!) and with the towels Mommie had picked up, the covers were fashioned for them. Look how cute!!!! (my babies, not the covers!)

Riggs thinks his boppie is just perfect 'cause it matches the mane on his lion!! Thank you Dearie!

Avery, fresh from her bath, was unsure about something! She's such a big girl now . . . she wanted to sit on the sofa with Dearie but not in a baby boppie!

This is way more fun Dearie!! I'm definitely a big girl now! (BTW, check with Mommie 'cause she's going to be able to tell you from which side I photograph best, okay?)
