Yesterday I moved buttons on a jumper and rompers (so they'd be a little longer), hemmed a dress (so it would be a little shorter) and inserted elastic in a pair of pants (so they'd fit a little more snug). Teaching Avery and Riggs how to put away the new supply of Pampers (neatly!), as well as changing my Darlings' pampers . . . being in the nursery was a big hit!
Then, we headed for the living room where I played with Avery and Riggs for a while longer (always entertaining!) as we danced and sang to the goat playing:
Ah, ba ba ba ba Barbara Ann
Ba ba ba ba Barbara Ann
Oh Barbara Ann, take my hand
Barbara Ann
You got me rockin' and a-rollin'
Rockin' and a-reelin'
Barbara Ann ba ba
Ba Barbara Ann
Went to a dance, lookin' for romance
Saw Barbara Ann, so I thought I'd take a chance
With Barbara Ann, Barbara Ann
Take my hand
You got me rockin' and a-rollin'
(Oh! Oh!)
Rockin' and a-reelin'
Barbara Ann ba ba
Ba ba ba ba Barbara Ann
Ba ba ba ba Barbara Ann
Barbara Ann, take my hand
Barbara Ann
You got me rockin' and a-rollin'
Rockin' and a-reelin'
Barbara Ann ba ba
Ba Barbara Ann
Avery and Riggs love to dance as soon as they hear ANY music but Avery's jumping right out there with the goat, singing while she dances! Quite the l'il performer, even though her words are limited to ba ba ba!!
Mommie and Daddy were rounding things up to get the kiddos out to Otter's by dinnertime (they love the magician there!) for Kid's Night!
Not that I enjoy leaving but it is fun for the Darlings to throw kisses (no blowing 'em yet!), waving their little hands as they utter bye bye bye bye! But yesterday, when it was time to head out . . . Avery threw her arms up in the air like she wanted to leave with me! Definitely a first! So sweet, so funny! Just loving those Darlings!

And no, I've said nothing about babies and balloons! Not a word!
